chapter 1

i rushed past the grand living room with its sumptuous Moroccan carpets and its green silk couches and armchairs and, hanging above it all, a great chandelier with a hundred crystal teardrops, which always threatened to click against each other but never actually did. As i walked out the front door, i felt a heat wave blowing my hair all to my face. I got into my car as i made my way to college...

When i reached gust, i practically ran through the empty halls (wearing heels that day didnt help and the fact that i was already 5 minutes late) 

i FINALLY reached Dr. Naders room, i entered the classroom through the huge wooden doors to realize the whole classroom was staring at me! Ukh typical!

Dr. Nader: Noor why are you always late to my morning classes?

Me: I guess im not a morning person nor i like waking up in mornings...

Dr. Nader: Well Noor, you have to learn how to wake up early or we will have a problem since all of my classes are in the morning. This is college not high school...he continued lecturing me about the importance of being early to class..(he was being so harsh, shda3wa i was just late). 

He totally hates me!

I took a seat next to Farah, 

Farah whispered: maku fayda feech, kela met2a5ra!

i whispered back: shasawe, ush 5anisma3 mali khilg zafa thanya!

i sat for the next 40 minutes listening to Dr Nader talking about physics. (soo boringg+ im not sure itha physics is a class in gust).

i walked out of the classroom with farah, 

farah: cham class bagy 3endich? 

me: i have 3 more, laish?

farah: i have 2 more, gelt ne6la3 ana ma3ach ou muneera

me: um okay ma3endy mane3! 

farah: 5alas 3ayal, ashuf muneera waguloch wayn ou metta

me: ok bye, mabe a9eer late again 

farah: loool bye

after 3 depressing classes, i met muneera&farah at starbucks gust: 

me: guwa

muneera: halla, im starving wayn taboun? 

farah: meshtahya entrocontè 

me: 5alas, nru7 il hamra! 

farah: ok, yallah 5anamshy! 

we went to entercontè, and halfway through us eating lunch, two guys came and sat at the table directly infront of ours. One of them was staring at me that i got quiet uncomfortable i stopped eating. 

muneera: noor this guy is staring at you so badly

noor: adree, magdar akamel akle, im getting so uncomfortable. 

farah: shraykum ngum?

me: ehh yallah

after we left the restaurant, we shopped a liitle, the we left the mall. 

As soon as i reached home, i directly went to bed

more about main character; noor: 

- noor is 19 years old

- she is a freshman in gust

- social person, with two close friends: farah and muneera

- 2 siblings: one older sister, latifa, studies medicine in beirut, and one younger brother, abduallah, sophomore in high school.

Description of noor: 

perfect height for a freshman in college, almond long wavy hair that reaches her mid-back, she has kylie jenners eyes (which look really beautiful with eyeliner on) and she is skinny thin (the beautiful kind)

PS: in the next few posts nothing particularly exciting will happen, just an introduction about noor's daily life..but later in the story more events will happen!
